The Elders

This weekend I learned, for the first time, about an amazing organization put together by Sir Richard Branson and Peter Gabriel.
THE ELDERS – a new gathering of world leaders who will come together to guide and support our “global village” . For their model they looked to traditional village elders, trusted by their people to resolve conflict within their communities.
The Elders consist of Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Ela Bhatt, Gro Brundtland, Jimmy Carter, Muhammad Yunus, Graca Machel, Kofi Annan, Lakhdar Brahimi, Fernando Cardoso, Mary Robinson, and Aung San Suu Kyi.
You can go to their WEBSITE and learn more about them. I think you would be inspired by what they are doing and accomplishing.
